Most wouldn’t even consider surfing as a past time in Barcelona due to it’s location in the Mediterranean but you can get some fun little waves around Autumn and Winter. These photo’s were taken at Bogatell Beach right next to Barcelona city late 2007. If you are keen for a wave near Barcelona city the best option is to head to Montgat, Masnou, Malgrat de Mar, Premia de Mar, Mataro or Sitges.
