To the airport: Catch a blue bus with “aeropuerto” written on the destination strip. Catch the bus from Placa Espana (under the clock) or out front of Corte de Ingles Placa Espana. Trip one way costs 4.30 euro and buses come every 8 minutes. Approx journey time: 20-30 minutes.
From the airport: ( To Placa Catalunya or Placa Espana ) Catch the bus from out the front of either Terminals A, B or C the bus has “aeropuerto” written on the destination strip. The trip costs 4.30 euro one way and comes every 8 minutes. Takes about 20 minutes no probslems and a taxi will cost you approximately 25-30 euro.
The other option is to catch the train which will take about the same time but cost around 1.30 euro and is usually not as crowded. You can catch to bus to and from the center of the city to the center of the airport.
