The best part of this park arguably is not actually the architecture of Gaudi, but the views of the city. The architecture resembles that out of imagination of ‘Hansel & Gretels’ . Worth the effort even though the walk from the metro station (L4 Joanic) up hill seems never ending, or those of you who might be less physically active, taking a cab is recomended. Between the creations of Gaudi, and views of the city, this a must see if you are ever in Barcelona.

The Ice Bar Barcelona

The new Ice bar on the beach in Port Olimpic in front of the twin towers at Port Olimpic. The bar is like walking into a massive deep freezer of -7 degrees celcius right on the beach.

Guests are provided with woolly mitts, caps and jackets before entering the bar to enjoy great drinks out of ice glasses on the ice benches in and around ice art carvings.

Outside there is a terrace to thaw out afterwards and to enjoy the beach views..

Metro: L4 Ciutadella Villa Olimpica

The Ciutadella park is a gorgeous manicured charming park in the heart of Barcelona. Next to the Zoo and includes a beautiful fountain and small lake along with lots of grass verges to soak up the warm sunshine and laze the day away. A great spot for a walk or relaxation, very bohemian crowd, fire twirling and juggling late afternoons and on Sunday.

Labyrinth Park

Aka: Horta Labyrinth Park

The park Labyrinth of Horta is the oldest garden in Barcelona as well as a magnificent example of the neoclassical art period an excellent escape from the city and by far one of the nicest parks.
